Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when you book a pottery painting session with BISK, trading as BISK, from 45squares Eatery, 10 Wellington Rd, Durbanville, Cape Town, 7550, South Africa, on the Rust-en-Vrede grounds.
What you are buying
BISK is a pottery painting studio. A session is a booked time at the table: you paint a bisque piece, we glaze-fire it, and you collect the finished work later at 45squares Eatery. This is not a course. Prices are shown in South African Rand on the booking page.
Delivery and collection
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, we confirm a paid booking by email. You attend in person at the session start time. There is no courier or postal delivery of the session itself.
After you paint, we take the piece to the kiln. When glaze firing is done we email you that it is ready for collection at 45squares Eatery. Delivery of a finished piece can be arranged separately, including any courier cost, if we agree that in writing.
Where we offer this
Sessions take place in Durbanville, South Africa. You need to be able to attend in person.
Refunds and cancellations
This is the cancellation and refund rule for paid BISK pottery painting sessions at 45squares Eatery, 10 Wellington Rd, Durbanville. Times are Africa/Johannesburg.
Two days in advance
You may cancel a paid booking, ask for a refund, or ask to move to another date only if we receive that request at least two days (48 hours) before the session start time. There is no administration fee when you cancel in that window.
If we receive the request closer than that, we do not cancel, refund, or reschedule. That includes a change of plans, running late, or missing the session.
How to ask
Write through the contact form, or from the email you used when you paid. We count the 48 hours from when we receive the message, not from when you meant to send it.
If we cancel
If BISK cannot run the session (including unavailability), we refund you in full to the same payment method, or we move you to another date if you prefer. We complete that refund within 30 days.
How a refund is paid
Card refunds go back through PayFast to the same card used to pay. That usually shows within ten business days. We do not refund more than you paid.
Privacy
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information you give us. Personal information has the meaning in South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The detail is on our privacy policy.
Payment
Payment may be made with Visa or Mastercard on PayFast’s secure page. Other methods PayFast shows on that page may also be available. We do not take card numbers on this website. A booking is confirmed when payment has succeeded. Until then a request is only a request.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions are acquired for BISK via PayFast by Network (PayFast (Pty) Ltd), the payment gateway. Card details are entered on PayFast’s site, not on ours, and are not stored on this website. PayFast’s security information is at www.payfast.io.
Your name, email, phone, and booking details are stored by BISK, separately from card details.
South Africa and rand
The merchant outlet country when we present payment is South Africa. The transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Responsibility
BISK is responsible for the session you book, customer service, dispute resolution, and the painted piece, including collection after firing.
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa. BISK chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi 45squares Eatery, 10 Wellington Rd, Durbanville, Cape Town, 7550, South Africa.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you pay is the one that applies to that booking.
